这场全球瞩目的盛典开始于伦敦时间晚上9点，现场大屏幕里显示的群岛奇迹拉开序幕。跟随镜头，英伦三岛的风土人情一一呈现。随着大屏幕里的镜头与“伦敦碗”的现场融为一体，一幅田园画卷展现在主体育场内，马拉动的耕犁的工具，辛勤的挤奶妇女、野餐的家庭、爱德华时期的村庄板球队以及舞蹈着的人们。
